In this page you will find some of the best samples of what I can do when the subject is video editing. I am used to make videos for fun and for my job. If you want a video of your party, a news video, a funny video, a video with VFX, a music video, or any other kind of video, you can call me.
The old times
My video editing skills emerged when I was 17 and started watching tutorials on the internet about this topic. I met a guy named Andrew Kramer, who taught me everything I know about video editing, and then I started learning from him. He teaches about Visual Effects (VFX) on cinema standars, that's why I loved to watch him.
So I started filming my cousins and my childhood friends so I could train my new abilities. I wanted to try to add VFX to these shots. Then we played games while I was filming, so I could add the VFX on post production. Then, this was my fisrt introduction this video editing area:
The only sad thing about all this is that I never had good cameras to record myself, or my friends. And, the only time I had one, I go stolen.
This camera, for example, is from an old phone that we use to have back then: those with a flip case. And it was not even mine! I think it was from my friend's mom.
It used to have keys in it, and could only film in 360p, which is insanely low quality for today standards.
But it didn't made me stop! Because I still was able to do this.
But then, as soon as I got my first phone that was actually able to film something, I called my brother to make a short scene. We go the an open area nearby my home and started to film. This was what we came up with:
Then I started creating some more videos with a lot of VFX on them. We was used to do some random stuff to make all the VFX: we played tag, we played jump on the image, we played jump on the square, we made teleportation FX, we made floating screen FX... anyways... We used to do a lot of random games just to make the video look good, after the VFX got added on top of it all. And here you can see the other videos I made at the beginning:

After that, all my cousins started o grow and they were not visiting me so often as they used to. Also my friends were also moving to other neighborhoods and then I didn't have anyone left to film. Nobody was there anymore. And I couldn't film myself, because then I would need to buy more equipment, but didn't had the money, neighter my parents had. Then I started to create some gaming content for my YouTube channel. I always loved playing Minecraft since I played it for the first time. That's why my first gaming content was a Minecraft video:
None of these videos went viral, none of these series got a continuation... but I learned a lot while doing them. I learned that I didn't had a good microphone to record my voice while I was playing. I learned that my PC was to weak to handle everything that was happening in the game at the same time I was recording the screen... anyways... I learned a lot.
But then, while I was on vacation, I recorded another tutorial series that taught me resiliance. And was at this moment that I noticed that I could be able to do anything that I wanted, if I apply a steady amount of discipline to keep doing it. Also achieving a deadline in time was super cool. At this moment what I was doing was this tutorial series here:
In the mean time
But, in the mean time, while I was working at a company called BRG Consultoria, I was also creating my own stuff. I decided to create another channel focused only in christian topics. In this channel I made some full translation of videos, dubbing with my friends and also I started a new series explaining about what will happend in the end of times, chronologically.
Translations:
In these videos, I've translated random videos I found interesting on YouTube. I thought it would be cool to have them in my own language (which is Brazilian Portuguese, by the way...) but I couldn't find them anywhere else. So I decided to translated them on my own. Some of them are even dubbed by me and my friends, and some of them are just the texts on the video that got translated.
The end of times study:
In these videos, we are going to study what will be the sequence of events that will lead to the end of the human domain. In these videos I try to use a simple language to make it easier to understand what will happen and also I have a lot of illustrations demonstrating everything. And, with the magic of video editing, I can even put together some images of similar events to illustrate even better what are planned to happen in this period of time. But, don't worry, it is going to have good ending. I recomend watching it, if you know a bit of Portuguese.
Professionalism
After all this learning process, I finally was able to put it to use when I got hired by BRG Consultoria and, later, by Alfa Center Imóveis. At BRG Consultoria, I started to make videos for their internal games and they needed to be funny and full of VFX to engage all the employees. This video right here is a good example of that:
After I left them, I decided to build this website and decided to update my logo. It used to be grey and red, with a black background. But now it's all white, with the red detail. You can see the difference here:
Then I got hired at Alfa Center Imóveis, the real state company. There, I learned how to take good photos of properties and also how to make good videos of them as well. On the last two months of being there, I got challenged to make deep creative and meaningful videos for them. And I think I was successful with that, but that didn't stop them from firing me. Well... You can see and judge it by yourself: have I made a good job or no?
