Logo and design related stuff
In this page you will find some of the best samples of what I can do when the subject is logos and graphics design. I am used to do photo-manipulations, flyers, banners, shirt print designs, 3D compositing, business cards, logos and social media posts.
The beginning
My graphic design skills arose from my curiosity to learn more about image editing. I looked for videos on YouTube that taught how to make these types of designs because I thought it was really cool to see people making these beautifuly well made images. Then, by combining my drawing skills with my image editing skills, I can start creating better and better designs.
This image here is just an example of design that I made while I was working at BRG Consultoria.
It was a failed attempt to make a cool concept of myself inside of a cool abstract design. Obviously it is 100% my faut, because the design ended up getting really cool, but my face in it made it look not-so-good anymore.
But it still serve as a good example of mixing the subject into a design... as if the subject was behind the design.
All the information in this image is no longer valid for my present self, because people change over time. I would hardly do another design like this one these days. But now let's talk about some more examples of designs I've made in the last few years.
In the beginning, I was used to draw in paper what I saw in fashion magazines, or in manga. I've told you that I learned how to draw also thru a magazine someone bought me. This magazine thaught me everythin I know about the concepts of deph of field, points of interest, shadows, human body shapes and sizes, etc.
Since then, I've been involved with art. I started by drawing and then kept evolving to other areas of art, like photography, filming, image editing and then video editing. When I learned how to create these graphics designs, I never had the chance to actually use it in a real job.
My exeprience with graphics design was already good enough even before I started to work at any company. I use to create flyers, banners and pamphlets for my friends and acquaintances. Below are some examples of what I used to do before getting hired:
I have a lot more designs I've done for the people back them, but they are at the beginner level, so they are really bad and don't really add to this portfolio. Some of them are even super weird and barely understandable.
The first job
Well... this wasn't my actual first job, but it was the first time I was using my graphics design ability for a real company. The company I got hired was called BRG Consultoria. They use to work with payroll loans and I was the one responsable by their social media pages, posting things related to the company and loans. Below you will see some examples of designs I've done for them.
As you can see, while I was there, I wasn't makng design only for them, but also for other pertner companies that used to frequently visit them to close deals with them. The owner of BRG used to make business with a lot of other companies to increase the company's reach. Also several of his relatives used to do business with him and even worked at the company.
Newer designs
After that, I have work at a company called Alfa Center Imóveis, a real state company. Me and the other guy that we had there were responsable to the complete remake of the company's online image. We remade the website, organized the property records, stabilished a new and better standards for the visual identity of the brand to stay consistent in all of our social media platforms. These are some example of design I made for the end of the year:
But, in the mean time, I was also doing my own stuff: people still kept calling me to make freelancer stuff for them, like these covers, some logo creations and art vectorizations. Below here you can see some of my tests doing art covers using AI. I'm pretty new to the AI stuff, but I believe I can do some fancy stuff with it as well, because I had enough time to practice while I was working at the company above.
